    Hi Graham, No , you order the entire mech assembly, you cant just order the laser component, nor would you want to. Sometimes the issue can be the laser diode, sometimes the motor and sometimes both. Rather than make a mistake on ordering these you have to give the serial and type number of the machine so as to confirm the correct part is ordered. So

    We had a customer who tryed the replacment lasers, the first didnt work, the second only lasted 2 weeks, he then part exchanged the faulty Ouverture with us for a BS2300. We fitted an original B+O laser on his Ouverture and its worked perfectly ever since. The B+O parts are more expensive but as ive always said, you get what you pay for. This is just

    The TV powers the stand, but you have to connect it before you plug the tv on at the mains or the tv will not see the stand

    I had a customer call saying her BS9000 had stopped responding to all remote funtions, I asked her to press 'list' then 'standby' incase it was an option setting, she said there is no list button (?)     When cleaning the lens, first put in a cd in cd position 1, choose a long disk with say 20 tracks on, play it on the last track so the lens travels to the end of the sled , then power off whilst playing, this will help you reach and clean the lens without bending the clamper, a little trick i found along the way. Dont clean it with anything other than

    i dont know if anyones ever told you but you look a little like 'ba baracus' , i recon you can handle yourself if it goes bad well unless you you have to get on a plane, but if hes near you should be alright
