It is possible. Here in the US, we have this thing called the BeoLab 2 adapter which is what we use to hook up a BeoLab 7 to a non-B&O receiver.

Razlaw: My understanding, from another post here on Beoworld that explained the new software is that even on a non-24p panel, i.e. a BV7 MKIII there would still be improvement. I installed it today on our BV4-65 -BS3 played 3 different blu-rays and I cant honestly see any difference between them... I guess I never noticed any jitter before... Casino Royale, Planet Earth and Live free or Die hard were the movies I tested.

beodim: A Beo5 when the user software is available. A Serene when the Samsung logo is gone. Sorry to correct you but there is an upgrade... new type numbers were assiged for the BeoLab 3 range with the upgrade.
