  • Re: New T80 DECT Phone by Jacob Jensen

I just dont get it!. Jensen keeps on making the same design lines on every single product in his portfolio. I guess some could call it linearage but to me it is a chunky Beolink 1000. Its just plain .....well..."seen before" As for the features of this phone or the Beocom, well thats a matter of choice of the manufacturer as to where he is

Dave: If they actually wanted to bring the prices down, all they need to do is take out a wager, and lower prices and watch production demand increase, Errr - No! Unfortunately, boards and shareholders don’t like betting with their own money. I believe that it is not a simple fix just to simply lower prices. Nor is it a corner they have purposely

30 TVs a day or 150TVs a day - Im guessing and probably on the high-side but its not a lot of TVs and yes, they are probably all hand built. It is not however going to be 250 or 500 or 1000 TVs a day. And the point is, is that the number is sufficineltly low that unit purchase cost of the components is going to be more or less the same whether its 30

I was once told by my dealer, that the total number of B&O products (major products i.e. TV’s, audio systems and loudspeakers) was circa 15,000 units per year for the entire UK. If one could assume the UK constitutes say 10% of the world market of say a guestimated 150,000 units, one can realise that B&O probably makes no more than 150

355f: On the price adjusted RPI firgure you mention; its an interesting point and of course accurate, the products today are no more expensive in real terms BUT over the past 8 years we have had huge wholescale price deflation in the audio and video business and large advances in technology. I admire the Bs9000 and the bl8000 but they are prehistoric

moxxey: Are you sure? Drogba, Essien, Anelka (world's most expensive transferred player) aren't exactly cheap. Ravenelli was our most expensive player by far (on £48K per week, back in 1997) and Emerson constantly went AWOL. It's being argued that Alves - who is supposed to be on his way to Boro - is using us only as we've offered

  • Re: Why am I moderated?

Just posted another comment on the Torben topic..... Got this response but swear I watched my language and content. what is happening to this site????? Come-on guys. This is not what I signed up for. If it is there because there is a risk of people feeling touchy, then one has to question if touchy sensitive people should be on a public debate forum

TWG: You can't demand the same prices as years before while moving production to China or Eastern Europe. As many of us can see the products just DO NOT have the old quality and I just hope that they have enough intelligence in Denmark to see this and to keep production in Denmark. If not it's the same as BOSE: Now "Made in China"

  • Re: The What Should B&O Do - Thread!

Looking at the B&O financial figures, I would say the TBS plan failed because costs got blown out of the water. There is also the fact that the UK did not bite in terms of sales either which is probably a case of Mr Neogeorgeiancopyclone wanting 10 channels of HD on sky and the fact that his disposable income vanished with a pseudo inflation rate
