  • Lintronic TT-RT-238 and Relay 208 for sale

Hi everyone I've ended up with 5 Lintronic TT455-RT-238 signal converters and 5 Lintronic Relay-208 relay boxes from a project that didn't go ahead. They're all brand new and boxed. As you probably know the TT455-RT-238 is for controlling non-B&O kit with a beo4 or beolink 1000 type remote, and the Relay-208 is for switching curtains

Worked for me too! I just couldn't figure out what was wrong with mine, but shorting out the battery contacts brought it back to life. Handy trick with the phone camera too.

  • Re: Issue with Beolab Penta 1's

As I recall there are 2 boards that together make up the crossover (it's quite complicated in there). One board does bass/treble and the other does midrange. The midrange one is connected to the base/treble board by a couple of wires so it sounds like the midrange board may simply have become disconnected. It would be worth taking the base off the

  • Re: New Lighting Solutions

I've got the Rako. It works differently to the the LC2; you get light pictures 1 to 4, up down and off the same as on Rako's wall controller.

  • LC2 wall mounting

Hello I've got an LC2 that I'd like to use as a light switch replacement, but I need some ideas on how to fit it in to the switch back box. I'd rather not surface mount it with the wires showing if I don't have to. I'm happy with the wiring, it's recessing it in to the wall that's baffling me- all the holes are in the wrong

  • Re: Capacitors

Thanks for the advice Thing is I'm not sure what my speakers are supposed to sound like as I've only had them a few months! They're RedLine 45.2s which would make them late 80s-early 90s, and I suspect the last owner kept them in his garage/shed. They're by far the best speakers I've ever owned, but if I had to criticise I'd

  • Capacitors

Hi At what age should speakers have their capacitors replaced? I've read that they eventually dry out and stop working properly, but there doesn't seem to be much on how to tell if they need replacing. Cheers, Edd

  • Re: MCL problems...

I've fixed it! It turns out that my Sky digibox was causing the problem- unplug the scart lead and everything works, plug it back in and nothing talks to anything else. I'm not 100% sure but my theory is that the TV might be expecting beolink on pin 8 and the Sky box is sending +12v.

The TV is on Option 1, Slave and is Audio Aux Linked to the BM. Come to think of it I don't recall it ever communicating with the BM either- to get TV sound through the BM I push AUX,TV (BM switches on) TV (TV comes on). It will quite happily run with TV coming from the TV speakers and CD or Radio coming from the BM, which is not a good combination
