• Re: New Panasonic 85" plasma, will it come to B&O?
TV's are LCD with LED backlighting. OLED is something quite different (and considerably more expensive at the moment).

Oled and LED technology are NOT the same. LED is basically a LCD technology. OLED is still 2-3 years away.

LED is still

  • Re: Blue Screen with Beo5 Config Tool
With the "Old" PC I tryed an USB-Hub but it don't work. When I try to write to the Beo5 the Tool says "Serilization Succeed but with errors" What does it say to me?
Hi Dirk, What I can confirm to you: is that your USB fatal error is already SOLVED by using the USB-Hub

  • Re: Blue Screen with Beo5 Config Tool

You're gettin a classic USB critical failure in windows, due to incompatibilities between beo5 drivers and your PC/Notebook USB hardware-software. Try another USB connection (maybe an expander or external USB hub) or even another computer as Christian said before. Good luck.
I have a few Avants and they all seem to show the same strange behaviour. They all select 16:9 (as WSS detection is set to on) when watching Virgin or DVD's, yet when watching normal analogue TV through their in built tuners they will never select full 16:9!
My avantDVD inbuilt analog tuner change the screen
I have the same problem when I use in macros commands generated in XML Generator. If macros consist of CT's third party commands like Merten 2010 F1 F2 all work great.
You're absolutely right Maksim, I must clarify this; When I talk about the problems caused by "non-B&O" commands in mixed
When I first programmed my brand new Beo5 with the previous software/firmware (1.40a), I had a similar battery drain problem. Every time I reprogrammed it and tested, I would get an empty battery.
That's very strange Stan, I've NEVER experienced this sudden battery drain problem with 1.40a firmware during
Perhaps dealers and members who find issues with this new version could kindly post the problem here.
Hello Keith! I'm now using this last BeoCT 3.0.0.2 version and my beo5 firmware has been also correctly upgraded to 1.41a version with no issues at all. Everything works fine with only ONE exception

  • Re: Beo 5 two-...
I really doubt that B&O will release a Beo5 in a two-way version. They might make a Beo6 (or Beo7 etc) that looks somewhat like a Beo5 including two-way functionality, but introducing it as a Beo5... not likely. That would make too much confusion as to what a Beo5 is. The Beo5 was never meant to be a two-way remote
