    SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "0:001:VTR:1:VTR" Thank you Stefan!!!! the key was to use the VTR mode , not TV mode , exactly as you suggested.

The name "DVD2" is the "VTR" IR command, so the beo5 IRcode finally is "0:000:VTR:VTR", and this code starts the HDR2 with the command " V.TAPE

    Thanks ! Yes it is, an 8 years old avant 32 dvd with almost 20.000 tube hours... but still working flawlessly. A very solid B&O device indeed Regards.
