Have you tried Atlantic Systems. They've done a great job repairing B&O for me in the past. I can recommend them. Perhaps they can supply the parts you need. http://www.atlantic-systems.com/ 781-826-8760 Let us know how it goes.

Lintronic is a very easy product to program. In particular if you are trying to trigger almost any product with an IR remote it will be absolutely simple. If you are interested in trigerring a screen action with a relay or even with a serial command both are possible. Be aware that both relays and in particular serial communications are a bit more difficult

I don't fundamentally disagree about the Pentas 3, perhaps $1600 is bit high. I've seen them go for less on ebay. Of course as Peter says condition is everything. The problem with getting this price is shipping. By the time these are properly packaged and shipped, you're looking at $2,000+. On the BL3000s shipping is much less of an issue

To ask the same question as above: Can the small clamper for BS3000 be exchanges for the new one (3153010)? Thanks.

No OS? Intelligent TV? If it's silicon and it's intelligent it has to have an OS. Even if that OS isn't Intel or B&O. No?

I have always been a big fan of integrated technologies. I will always regret exchanging My BC9500 (CD/Tape/Radio/Amplifier) for a BS3000. I have all of the David Lewis speakers (integrated amps). I just love the idea of integration with all of the elegance and simplicity that implies, BUT Intel inside of my TV mkes me nervous. With the tech cycle as

I too have ATV1 hacked with Boxee, however, I don't even try doing video. Pandora is the only app I use on it. I'm curious also about the Boxee box, though reviews are somewhat mixed. I doubt that B&O has the Boxeee Box in their PUC and it's hard to imagine they will any time soon. If (remote) integration is important to you (it is to

I love AppleTV. In fact I have the original ATV and also the new "Black" or ATV2. I have the original connected to the US Avant via Component and the ATV2 connected to a BV8 via HDMI. I don't think I'd go through the trouble and probably expense of forcing the ATV2 onto an Avant at this point in time. If I were starting over, I would

Airplay support? Then I could use the AppleTV connected to the BV8 (with screen muted of course) to listen to music. The app's sleep timer turns net radio off, Lintronic sleep timer turns BV8 off. Shouldn't be difficult at all technically. B&O, will you?

While in the America we never had the opportunity to enjoy the BV1, I agree with Graham that this is a better choice for the bedroom. It just seems like the bulk of an Avant, combined with it's fixed position which is relatively low for a bedroom might be problematic. The BC1 also seems to be less expensive, and if outfitted with ML, I think can
