Sorry, but this is quite inaccurate. The whole punk thing was not English, but actually originated in New York in '75/'76; adopted by McLaren / The Sex Pistols and The Buzzcocks to become the blueprint for what we term as punk (English). Chris, Try the 'Place' on Ducie Street, Manchester M1. About 5-10 minute walk from the B&O store and all new so actually worth staying in. As a B&O phile, you'll appreciate the decor! There are a few more (Malmaison in Piccadilly, etc) but not as interesting.Andy
