I have just looked at the company's web site and helpfully they have provided all the codes in Philips Pronto HEX format which I can convert without any problems.

Well, it does appear that your Beolab 3500 has a hardware fault most likely related to the Power amps supply voltage. Almost all dealers sub-contract repairs to either B&O or one of the independent repair centres that you have never heard of. At least if you have it repaired by the B&O dealer, they are then responsible for that repair, even

If you have turned the volume up to maxmium and you cannot hear either humm or hiss, then either there really is no input or the amplifier or it's associated power supply could be faulty. The other possible issue could be that it has switched back to MCL which was the default setting on a LCS9000. Check that you are sure that the unit is switched

OK, I am guessing that you had the LCS9000 upgraded by changing the micro processor which effectively makes it a Beolab 3500 Mark I Is it possible that you had a power failure or a power dip (Brown out) when you were away ?
