So, last Saturday I picked up my long awaited Earsat 2 and was also provided with a CD in a brochure called "This is Different" by Kipper. On the inside of this CD package was an introduction by Graeme Taylor of B&O UK, so I must assume this is a UK only promotion. Teta: Hi, Is it possible to have a BeoSystem 3 and a Beoport connected to a Windows Media Center? What I really would like is to use the audio and video functionality of the Media Center from the both the BeoSystem 3 and the BeoPort acting a audio master at the same time. Is this possible? Peter, I have found an old sheet with details of the modification, but without the circuit diagram, I am not sure it will be that helpful. I do not have a circuit diagram or a set of these speakers, but I have found an old entry which may have come from the old BeoWorld site and it says the following:- For Power-link: Mount a 1 nF capacitor across 03D1

I think I am right in saying this is a known issue which is fixed by adding a capacitor and diode. It fails on some units and not others because of tolerence difference of components. There is no adjustment you can make, but you will have to get these components added to permanently fix the problem. Keith..

The STB controller communicates just like the remote control of the devices remote control. In practical terms there is a 3.5mm jack socket at the back of the BeoVision and you plug in the supplied cable which has an IR transmitter which is stuck on your STB in front of the receiver. You plug your STB into the scart and tell it which setop box you have
