>>Same goes for the new "BeoSound 1" with iPod/iPhone dock.<< I hope that they do not waste too much time on it but come up with a more rock solid example for a home MP3 player. Still waiting for updates to the BS5 ........

I have the BL3 and BL2 combination and I love it - use it only for music. I haven't heard the new BL11 sub yet, I do recall a test that was poste dhere where peeps compared the BL3/BL2 combo against BL5 and had a hard time detecting the difference. I think also taste plays into this as well as music listened too but I would for sure not say that

I reconfigured my options and I actually can confirm that if you put a dummy plug into the earphone socket it will not switch to option 0 when the power goes out. I have just a plug no cable, no soldering nothing. This is also required for some funny reason to get sound on the AUX out. I have BS9000 no speakers connected to my BC2 through the AUX. Works

>>The BV10-32 will take the place of the BeoVision/Center 6 series for link rooms.<< That is a bit of a pity. The design of the BV6 is very different then from the BV10. Try placing the BV10 on a shelf. I don't fully understand why it is so tricky to run the TVs on the same platform and retain their frames. I always loved the Bv6 and

I miss something to handle my digital music. Waiting for more software updates for the BS5.

I believe there might. I think if you put a dummy plug into the earphones socket it will retain the option. I have mine connected via AUX to my BC2 and the BC2 has the speakers. I did not get any sound initially until I plugged the dummy in. Mine also does retain the option settings when off mains ..... I will play with that and get back, I have to

My understanding was that the options would not matter when it comes to calling up a core function like CD or Radio through the Beo4. It is sort of hardwired - that is the beauty about the Beo 5 since it is more flexible in this regards.

Pipe in: "The extra adapters were sort of extensive, added to the cable mess. The ones that can produce HDMI with digital sound and combine the video and audio out from the mini were only introduced recently I believe. Most only supported video and at least my BV8 does not have a digital audio in but can handle HDMI.

I am using my ATV through HDMI with my BV8, and it works even on Itunes rented videos that for sure are protected. I would think Mini Mac works just like that.
