The BV4 is sold as a promotional package containing BL7.2, BS3 and BV4 50" with a 4000$ discount in the US. This indicates that the full HD panel is right around the corner and that they want to get rid of the existing iventory. Updates should be around the corner, I do think though that this might be a very good deal. JK

Updated 40" model with full HD panel and improved chassis (based on BS3) should come out soon for the US and Japan per financial report, and later for Europe as well it seems. For the 32' this is not yet annouced when there will be an upgrade. The 40" I probably wouldn't buy at this point unless I get a very good deal, the 32"

You can have more then 1 set of surround speakers connnected to the BS3. I,e, if you have a dedicated media room with screen in addition to the RV in the main room. Or if you have TV and screen in the same room but in different corners you can switch channels, i.e. the left rear and front may become the new left and right front speaker.

I just upgraded to support the site. I didn't go for gold initially as I am not too interested in the prices and did not yet have the need for user or service manuals. For a loft like space with lots of casual viewing from distance I woulkd consider screen and projector. When it comes to the center, if you want to go long term for acustic lense speaker for the front I would give the BL 7.4 a spin. I bought mine early 2006, no rubber base. I am super happy with them. If you have the wrong cables, you will hear a loud buzzing. I doubt your dealer messed that up so don't worry too much. Hope you will enjoy them as much a s I do. I just watched the Joss Stone DVD and I am still in disbelieve how good they sound.
