IMHO, this is a different problem. This case reminds me to a contact problem, because if You push the remote hardly (I mean You press any button), then the connection will be fine, and therefore You can see the screen - and if You stop the pushing (I mean, You release the buttons), than the connection will be terminated, and therefore You will miss

Dear All, Thank You for all the ideas, but the problem was lied elsewhere. The problem was petty... and so simple Let me use a four letter word: RTFM. Oh yes, again, that was the solution: There is another switch in the wall, er, there is another switch on the Beolab's amplifier part on the left side - which has an "Audio", "Video"

Dear All, Today I was purchased a pair of Beolab 4500, which are working fine - except they do not turn on with a Beocenter 2300 or with a Beocenter 2500 (both two way versions), and the displays are not working :( The following cases was tested: With a simple 5 pin cable both speakers were turned on, and worked well, except the display. If I remember well, than Ridax has a special adapter which allows not even to connect the Ipod to the 2500, but You can even remote control it with the remote control.
