  • Re: What's playing RIGHT NOW?

Leftfield - Leftism. There is just something so beautiful about the combination of this album on at high volume and the absolutely amazing sunny weather we are having here today. I'm loving it : )

  • Re: Home Furniture

The table in the first photo looks a lot like Vitra's Occasional Table LTR by Charles & Ray Eames. But they don't make it in red ( anymore? ), so I could be wrong.

  • anyone got a Kartell store/dealer near them?

I realise this must be a strange question, but I will ask it anyway : ) I'm thinking about getting the Trix ( cushion/"transformable system"/... ) from Kartell by Piero Lissoni. It would be used as a chaise lounge, somewhere to sit my friends on when they come over and as an occasional bed for them, when they are too drunk to drive home

No, I didn't mean the mattress, but this part on the photo below. To me it just looks like the pillow would be pushed back towards the headrest and then down in there during sleep. Or maybe that's just me : ) As for the photo, I will take it ( and of B&O beside it, too ) as soon as my new Leica arrives. Are the galleries fully working now

While I do like its design, especially the lightness you've pointed out, I cannot help but think that the cushion would be pushed into that "crack" while you're sleeping, making it quite uncomfortable, not to mention annoying, when you would have to set it back all night. I used to have a bed without a headrest and no wall behind it

I still think that Lamborghini lime green ( is it Verde Ithaca? ) would look great.

  • Re: Embarrasing, but essential.

Alex, I know what you mean, I get the same thing all the time. And funnily enough, Timbaland is usually my "defence" too. Regarding really embarrassing music, I'm sure there are quite a lot of artists and songs I listen to that are embarrassing, so I won't get in to details... But there is this one album, which I think would be perfect

  • Re: BeoGram 4500 with a BeoCenter 9300 - won't play

Thank you Søren. I managed to set it without a problem now and good thing I did, as it was placed at about 1,5g or so. I played about three songs with it set that way - would that be enough to damage the stylus and the records? I'm playing the record again now and I don't really notice any difference. EDIT: maybe a bit more scratching

Oh and what should I clean the stylus with? The user manual suggests a "tiny brush" that is supposed to come in the package, but as mine didn't come with it, I'm wondering what are the alternatives? Also, how often should I do it?

I do have another question - I went through the user manual and I noticed the bit about adjusting the stylus pressure. I'm not sure whether my dealer has set it to the right position or not, so I would like to double-check. It seems quite tricky to access the slider, so I have two questions: Would it not play if it was set wrong, or would it just
