• Re: Naming Screens

Martin Thanks for the response. I'd be interested to see your screenshots for BeoMedia. I have mine configured now and working but I too a disapointed by the lack of "integration" with BeoMedia. I hope B&O have something up their sleeves! Greg

  • Re: Time for Beo5 evaluation...

I echo Peters comments, ensure you understand how you want the Beo5 configured and find a dealer who is willing to work with you to fix any issues. I love mine, I'm sure it will become an icon for B&O over the years to come, just like the BL8000s. It's easier to use than the Beo4 if you find you're using the LIST button on your Beo4

  • Re: Beo5 MkII

I can see how you maybe underwhelmed by it if its not configured correctly. If you've spent a lot of money on your Beo5 and it only does as much as your Beo4 and potentially some features don't work as they should you then would start to pick fault - That's just human nature. When I collected my Beo5 DTV didn't work because of the V

  • Re: Beo5 MkII

I agree, I've only had mine a week but it's a great device. I really does come down to how it's programmed / setup. Mine's taken several hours to get it right and to be honest it might need a bit more tweeking yet. Greg

  • Re: Beo5 Icons & Logos

Keith Saunders: Greg, I am aware that Sky have changed their names a bit and I am assuming that they are the one on teh logo page But at 100 x 44 it does not look so good because the writting is to small. Hi Keith Thanks for your help. I've managed to track down some better quality .bmp logos, I have managed to invert them, they now need cropping

Presumably something along the lines of this.... http://www.octavainc.com/HDMI%20switch%204port_toslink.htm But with IR support from the BV7? Greg

I hope this isn't the final decsion from B&O as I believe this product is needed to make the BV7 'more future proof'. Having to have SCART, HDMI and Digitial Coax connected for Sound is no different to how it is connected now. Does this come down to PCM again? Greg

  • Beo5 MkII

I know I have only had my Beo5 a week, in fact 6 days but here are a couple of thoughts for improvment for the MKII version that will inevitably appear at some point: As Andy mentioned a mute button would be nice I think the three icons at the bottom of the screen should be backlit An optional wall mounted charger Can you think of any others? I have
