• Re: Beovision 10-46 in 3D in 2012 ?
I was interested because I'm paying for a brand spanking new one in Black and red from Newcastle tommorow. I can't wait.
I still really love my BV10-46 with red fret. Superb. I have an orange and black fret, too. Orange can be a little too bright though.
Is the PS3 the best

 • Re: Beovision 10-46 in 3D in 2012 ?
So, my question is: should I go for the Beovision 10-46 or should I wait until it will be available with a 3D Panel? Or is it like my AD said (honestly I do not trust him regarding this), that there definately will be no Beovision 10 with 3D?
2013 is a year away and that is a long time in the electronics business

 • Re: B&O pricing policy
This rigid pricing policy seems to be common amongst some 'high end' brands in Australia, such as Miele appliances.
Prices aren't as rigid in the UK, although we do suffer from constant price rises. You can regularly receive a 10% discount if you ask around. Problem is, this 10% may not come from

 • Re: AR coating on Beovision 10
Well, the OptiClean left some residue on the contrast screen. So I took a soft cloth, dampened with water, to remove it. As it happens, even water leaves streaks on the glass
Yes, definitely do not use any cleaner, even LCD cleaner, on the BV10 or BV7. I made this mistake and you spend ages trying to clean it off

 • Re: Bang and Olufsen Outsourced
It's a race to the bottom Steffen - the bottom of the 'how little we can pay the workers' scale that is
China is far from the cheapest place for wages and Taiwan certainly isn't, where the majority of electronics manufacturing takes place. I think workers in Rochdale earn less, which is why

 • Re: B&O What moves you
What do you think about it ?
Hrm, it's not bad, but's a lot for the eye to focus on on that page - too many photos on a single page.

 • Re: Update to Beovision 10-46 vs. jump to 7-55?
The fact that it's PQ,even on Freeview,is stunning, demonstrates,to my mind, that the Beosystem 3 is doing something right. True, the Beosystem 3 dates from 2006,but do we know for sure that there have been no upgrades/improvements 'under the hood'?
I still think this is a misnomer. The BS3 hasn't
Even though the Beosystem 3 is a contributing factor
I think people love to assume the "powerful" Beosystem 3 is responsible for the PQ, but then why was BS3-powered BV7-40 MKIII so poor and my BV10-46 is slightly improved on my previous BS3-powered BV7-40 MKIV? I think it's a misnomer that the Beosystem

 • Re: Update to Beovision 10-46 vs. jump to 7-55?
I beg to differ that the BV7-55 is a heavy and clunky-looking TV. It looks weightless on the tall floor stand.
It's just an opinion :) It also depends on the angle etc. As my BV10-46 is on a angle in the corner of the room, you look at it a lot from the side, when coming in to the room. The BV10-46 on the

 • Re: Update to Beovision 10-46 vs. jump to 7-55?
Upgrading my BeoVision 10 is an option for me, if it makes enough sense in terms of PQ improvement.
I honestly don't think it will. BV10-46 is a fairly recent TV and there won't be much of a PQ improvement between MKI and MKII. My MKII BV10-46 is only very slightly better than my old BV7-40 MKIV and that
