I would ask my dealer for help here: You may alter the baseline settings for the screen, but these are given a range in the ordinary setup menu for a reason. Increasing "the light" (as you requested in another thread) could shorten the lifespan of the panel. I know most dealers are happy to guide you so that your BeoVision is correctly set

It will ship to customers starting July 17th. The price for the UK is as stated by Peter, but other European countries will see an increase in the range of €900 - €1.000. Roger

beobeo: David; I would hold on until de end of summer when is expected the new BV7-32, based on a completely new chassis with additional connectivity options like HDMI ports. Rumor has it that it may come with a new Full HD LCD panel, as opposed to the HD Ready that offers today. End of summer (September) could mean December, if we consider B&O's

Hi Michael, I do not know exactly how smart this feature is. But it is not entirely true, as stated in an earlier post, that film mode doesn't do anything to improve the end result: It will make sure that details of a moving object appear clearer (compared to "sport/regular mode", where the texture of a ball is not as important as a fluid

One could argue if there is a difference between ON and AUTO. When watching a DVD the Film Mode would be on always, but by selecting AUTO you could avoid activating it while watching a football match recorded on a DVD. AUTO will try to detect if the material is a movie or not. Roger
