  • Re: Does anyone have the pin-code to the real service menu for the BV 7-40???

I would ask my dealer for help here: You may alter the baseline settings for the screen, but these are given a range in the ordinary setup menu for a reason. Increasing "the light" (as you requested in another thread) could shorten the lifespan of the panel. I know most dealers are happy to guide you so that your BeoVision is correctly set

  • Re: BeoVision 9 Full HD

It will ship to customers starting July 17th. The price for the UK is as stated by Peter, but other European countries will see an increase in the range of €900 - €1.000. Roger

  • Re: Anyone's imput appreciated..

beobeo: David; I would hold on until de end of summer when is expected the new BV7-32, based on a completely new chassis with additional connectivity options like HDMI ports. Rumor has it that it may come with a new Full HD LCD panel, as opposed to the HD Ready that offers today. End of summer (September) could mean December, if we consider B&O's

  • Re: Serene pros and cons please..?

Sure, the Serene can't offer the latest advances in technology - but as a phone it's superb due to its sound quality, which is easily noticed at both ends. The real turn-off for most people is the bothersome text message / SMS layout of the keypad. Roger

  • Re: How white is B&O white

The white BeoSound 1 is "painted" with something that must be very close to NCS 0500 - I am sure someone can confirm the paint code for the BeoSound 1... The beamer colors could be found on e.g. the Avant - so no white's from Munich as far as I know. Roger

  • Re: beosound 4

Your choice of speakers isn't dependent of the BeoSound you own - the BeoLab 8000 and BeoLab 3 reproduce sound based on different technologies, which is better will depend on your ears. So the only fair recommendation is to bring your own music to your local dealer and test drive them both - or ultimately: arrange for a listening session in your

  • Re: Tyverisikring på B&O hvordan -

Ja, det er fullt mulig - men du bør ha proof-of-purchase fra forrige eier (kvittering) med mindre forhandleren kjenner dere begge. Roger

  • Re: Poor picture quality DVD player BV7

Hi Michael, I do not know exactly how smart this feature is. But it is not entirely true, as stated in an earlier post, that film mode doesn't do anything to improve the end result: It will make sure that details of a moving object appear clearer (compared to "sport/regular mode", where the texture of a ball is not as important as a fluid

  • Re: Poor picture quality DVD player BV7

One could argue if there is a difference between ON and AUTO. When watching a DVD the Film Mode would be on always, but by selecting AUTO you could avoid activating it while watching a football match recorded on a DVD. AUTO will try to detect if the material is a movie or not. Roger
