What a significant facelift! I bet you could sell a few of these should you increase the limited run of just one pair :-) Excellent work, Lee! Roger

Back to the topic of the first post: No, I do not think that a 10-55 will ever reach the market - simply because it has been evaluated and dropped by B&O. As an alternative to BV9, I do think that the BV7-55 fit the job description - when I replaced my BV9 with the 7-55 mk1 I got a sharper picture with improved blacks, but the "moving picture"

Roger

Just went from a 7-55 mk1 to the mk2, and I have to agree that the "haloing" is still there - but mainly on SD sources (dark scenes) - but less so than on the mk1. The black level on on the mk2 is outstanding, but what sold me was they grey tones - it does produce a very natural picture. Prior to the 7-55 mk1 I had the BV9 mk2, and the 7-55

It could be a couple of things, but most likely the BL5's are missing the power link data. The main fix is to update the BS3 to at least SW 3.1, which I presumse is already done in your case. If this is the case, make sure the Option setting is correct: To make sure Option 0 is selected, do this by selecting Option 1 and then re-set it to Option
