You do not have to change the resolution of the BeoMedia - the RF modulator takes care of that. This was, and perhaps still is, an issue when it comes to the distribution of "future" tv-signals over BeoLink: HD DVD, Blue Ray and HDTV will have to be distributed with the original numbers of lines intact - at some point in the not to distant

There are two challenges here: Your BeoVision must be able to distribute the BeoMedia video signal. As mentioned above, a 7-40 can re-route the DVI-input to the RF OUT - and handle the "PC" command (=the BeoVision has control over the BeoMedia 1, not a separate IR eye connected directly to the BeoMedia 1) The link BeoVision must be able to

It will depend on the route they select. Some of you may be aware of the BeoCenter "5" (aka AV1), a product that could be developed on a MultiMedia-PC platform with more focus on the on-screen interface than on mechanical marvel. This concept was originally planned to be a high-end product (to go along with the BeoLab 5, BeoVision 9 etc) with

This is a nice feature - the kids can watch a Disney DVD playing on the BC2 in a link room, while you enjoy your 7-40 and a different DVD in the main room. Which AV socket are you using? If you have problems, I would recommend the following: You do not have to change anything on the BC2 Connect the BC2 socket unit to the AV1 socket by scart, and, if

I have been a long time user of the BeoMedia 1. I was not a fan at first (BeoLink Media two-box), but must admit that the usability of the box is addictive. The user interface on a BeoVision 7 is good but not great, very B&O: simple and classy. If you have too many albums you have to learn a few Beo4-tricks to navigate (<< and >> acts

Roger

I've used one for some 5 months now, and it is great: excellent speaker, smart charger (that becomes a travel case when needed) and very comfortable. The downside compared to my old wired earset is the fact that the microphone is further away from the mouth, so quite a few complain that my voice level is too low. Roger

Most people prefer the iPod to the BeoSound 2, so I am sure that iPhone will beat Serene, too. The big question is: Will the iPod still outrun the BeoSound 6? Will the iPhone be a better phone than the new Serene 2? Roger
