[quote user="Razlaw"] Every time the discussion of price occurs in this forum, someone brings up this same argument. "My Avant was only twice the price of another TV". When I see this argument I frequently respond with a post asking what TV cost 1/2 the price of the Avant. I did so several pages ago in this thread. Nobody ever answers

[quote user="Mr10Percent"] [quote user="bayerische"] I would like to see a B&O financial spreadsheet from.... 1996, or 1999, or 1989. This is when products like the TV's was priced at about twice that of the competitors high-end model. Silly inflation hadn't started. Obviously the strategy with a 20.000 euro TV didn't

Let me reiterate - the company lost a small fortune in 2009 with a product range that included the BS1 & BS3. The main reason was a slump in sales - no one was buying the products. QED So, using all you learned during your Masters Degree, how would you recommend making more money from existing products having just lost 523 Million DKK in the year 2009 due to slumping sales? How much would you add to the retail price of a BS1 to turn it around? You can ask your friends in manufacturing too if you like.
