Great stuff Jari - this puts you in pole position for the 2011 Beoworld bravery award. Chris.

To zero/balance your tonearm look at THIS THREAD - it is for a Beogram RX but the method is exactly the same. Chris.

The metal panels on these are bog standard (thin guage) polished stainless steel - a decent metal fabricator should be able to make replacements for not a lot of money. They are attached with double sided tape I think. The text is simply silver/grey transfers which you could also probably obtain easily enough. Chris.

Heyup Ray - good to see you back. I saw these but had to dismiss them due to the distance from Leeds. Last time I drove to Devon it cost me £150 in fuel - add the 10+ hour round trip & it wasn't worth it. It does highlight the problems with listing items on a collect only basis. Chris.

If she's a Yorkshire lass Chris.... well just say nowt mate, it isn't worth the aggro... New Year will be here soon enough. Chris.

Bargain! Really good speakers, my favourite of the redlines Chris.

Welcome to Beoworld Ian Martin will be along shortly re:- the belts I'm sure. Lovely systems & definately worth spending time & a reasonable amount of money on. As long as the dodgy cartridge still has output on both channels it can be repaired by Axel in Germany to any specification up to MMC2 (contact line diamond on a sapphire cantilever

................. have invaded the design dept - EEK Not good Chris.

I very very rarely use Facebook & only when a distant family member uses it to pass on information. I don't like the site & certainly wouldn't be interested in a Beoworld home page. Chris.

Put it this way - if someone was asking advice on whether to buy this cartridge using your last photo as evidence of condition, I would definately tell them to forget it. I think we should also say that this isn't at all typical of Axels work & shows that we are all human & prone to mistakes - if indeed this turns out to be the case. Chris
