Congratulations, and a another wonderful prize. Thanks to Lee and Lifestyle who provide the prizes and keep old Botty well oiled.

Congratulations! Excellent remote - especially if you let Keith near it!

A Beomaster 5500 would fit the bill though remember that if using RCA connections, you will not be able to control the turntable remotely.

You do really need a piece of B&O with the Speaker link connection - however it sounds to me that you have been sold a pup - I would attempt to return these. There are lots of Pentas out there - these days, I would strongly suggest sticking to the Penta 3. You can still, last time I looked, get new midrange units.

S45.2s have a S45 badge on the front - only on the back is the .2 recognised. You can tell them from S45s because they have an extra metal trim on the rear and the back is flat black vinyl. I think 4000s are more than adequate for rears - I note they are by far the most widely used speaker at Struer, appearing in almost every listening room as rears. What does your system lack? Bass? If so the BL2 will certainly add it but at the expense of subtlety. BL5s

Always worth a trip to eBay for these - however non working video equipment is not a great seller. The casseiver is also likely to be poorly received - which one is it? The Beogram could be the salvation - if it works and has a cartridge, it could be worth a bit as vinyl is back in fashion!!
