Nicholas: Thank you for the information about linking. They appear when I create a new post, but if I go to edit a post to make the links active, they are greyed out. All very odd. Nicholas Again the reason for this is that you have no text selected. Select some text and then the icons will appear clickable.

Santiago: I have those two icons: "Insert/edit link" and "Unlink" disabled (grey) in my firefox 2 (win XP). I don't know if that "bug" is normal or my fault. The "chain" link icon will be greyed out until you select some text to make a link.

fridsten: I've noticed that when using the "Quick reply" link, the back button won't work. Other than that, no problem. When a pop screen appears the "BACK BUTTON" in your browser will not work. You will have to press the red cross in the top right of the pop up screen. I hope this answers your question. V

Hi I'm pretty sure that if the "BACK BUTTON" in Firefox browser software doesn't work then it has nothing to do with the FORUM. However I can investigate the issue. Could you advise me of what Operating System and Browser software you are using currently.

Lee it's not your forum username you are changing. Your username and password will stay the same. The thing you are changing is your Display Name only,

The reason will probably due to non alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers only) in your username. Please try without punctuation or spaces.

Indeed much to my annoyance as a keen Apple evangelist the site will not perform as well with Safari. As Lee mentioned it has been mentioned to the creators Community Server and they have promised to look at these issues in due course.

I was registered when the forum existed in it's basic form before it was designed and built to this capacity...
