Hi guys Recently purchased a pair of BL5's from UK and the dealer quoted +-GBP 1000 for air freight of the BL5's, it seems with no insurance, from UK to South Africa. I would obviously like to have them insured. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of companies to use to air freight the speakers, and if anyone here happens to have

Sorry , I only saw now that you already mentioned the BS5e sees the Laptop Twonky server! No harm done though. Yes, try setting the primary DNS to the server IP and see if that helps. Some extra guidance for the BS5 ;)

Firewall disabled on the Twonky server machine? Reboot the BS5 Encore, sometimes it doesn't pick it up. I just got mine working this way yesterday with TwonkyMedia Server. Try this: Install Twonky server on your laptop, plug ethernet directly into laptop from BS5e. Disable firewall on laptop. Assign IP manually to both machines, setting default

Which figure

Thanks for confirming :) Looking forward to setting this up once I find out the right cables I need and if there is any way to power the BL5's on with the AV Receiver :)

Hi beoinbuff Thanks for the quick reponse and for sharing your knowledge with me - very much appreciated! Regarding the RCA --> Line Cables, can I not connect it via Digital Out to the AV receiver instead of LINE? Also will I need to "syncr" cable at all? Or is that only necessary if I use the digital out instead of LINE? Suppose I would

Hi guys Firstly great forum you have here, have been reading it for a while before I finally decided to sign up and post up some questions of my own. I have just purchased a set of Beolab 5's and Beolab 3's, no center speaker yet as I have read on numerous threads here about the awesome "phantom center" of the BL5's! I have also
