I have never heard the beolab 10. and i thought how could the Avant speakers get any better!
-
you can wall mount an Avant?
-
i recieved and avant last christmas and i love it. the stand no longer turns when your turn the set on and off but it still works with the remote :) i had a pair of beolab 2000 before it and i thought the sound was good until i got the TV. so i decided to plug my ouverture into it and it has been the best tv set up i have ever owned. i just hope it

Since your Beosound is second hand. have you been through the sound settings on it? you should try turning your bass up a bit and your treble. but if these settings are ok there is deffinetly something not right. i heard a pair of BL 4000's the other day and i found them to be very clear and detailed for their size.

This has just sparked question i have been meaning to ask for ages. Which has better sound? The Beovision 10 or the Avant?
-
i received an Avant for Christmas and i ML it up to my Ouverture. iv never had a tv that is so good. When i sit on the bed the screen creates an illusion of HD and the colours from picutre tubes beat LCD panels by far. i do love the new beovison 10 but the sound isnt as deep as the avant. I do like the picture ease of use and the looks of all B&O

ok. so i was fiddiling around in the service menu and i clicked on video reset and this white line now appears at the top of the screen when i turn on my avant. how do i get rid of this?
-
the video decoder is plugged in to the video decoder at the top. but there is one empty socket at the bottom that says TV what does it do?
-
What does the TV scart on the avant do. it has the 3 at the top AV, Video Decoder etc. and then further down the back of the TV there is a TV socket on the left and the video decoder scart socket. What does the TV one do and can i plug a set top box in it?
-
Who cares though. The sound will be terrible
