Just to clarify that last post...if anyone has one of these 1200 babes in proper working order....all I ask that they do is with the unit in its n ormal working position,that they remove the platter & take a picture of the chassis with the platter removed.They definitely do not have to take the bottom cover off for any reason. Thanks for the photos,particularily the 1st one......What I really need to see is the 1st photo with the whole unit inverted & the platter removed-if anyone has such a thing.
