Elderly neighbour has asked me to look at his MX4000. After switching on (TV or Video/DVD), it drops back into standby mode after about 10-15 minutes. Ideas? Is it worth repairing? BTW - when it runs the picture is fine and in every other respect the TV is OK. He has given it to me, so shouild I get it fixed or take it to the City recycling centre?
