  • Re: Beovision 7-40

Yes I think you are right, in that you have to 'add' the clock button. It is not a standard button. Do you have a Beovision 7?

Thanks very much for explaining that. I have a Beo 4 remote. I don't seem to be able to see a button related to clock on the remote.

  • Question about Freeview HD Channels

The Digital Switchover happened last week in our area. Therefore had to re-tune BV7-40. No problem - all new channels found except for the HD ones. My 7-40 does have the built in HD box so I definitely should be able to get the HD channels. Is there something I should have done that I didn't. Anyone who has recently had the Digital Switchover and

  • Re: Putting BV7-40 on stand-by

We bought it brand new - less than 6 months ago. Type 9644 The problem seems to be intermittent. About 30 mins. ago I switched the TV on, watched it for about 15 mins. then pressed the button on the remote to put the TV into stand-by mode. The 'curtains' closed and immediately the red stand-by light came on and it is still on - as it should

It is most strange in the way that the red stand-by light is acting. So, just to confirm what procedure you go through when switching off, - you don't un-plug at the mains, you just press the bottom right button on the remote, the 'curtains' on the tv close and a red light appears in the bottom right corner of the tv screen. If you did not

  • Putting BV7-40 on stand-by

Can anyone help me with this rather odd problem. When it comes to turning my BV7-40 off I just press the stand-by button on the remote, as opposed to un-plugging at the mains. In the bottom right corner of the screen a little red light appears. Now this is the odd thing - sometimes the red stand-by light stays visible for one minute, sometimes for one

  • Re: Could these marks be condensation?

Do you have any ideas as to what the dark patches were? Did they appear every time you turned the TV on or were they only sometimes visible? Was there any particular times when you saw the patches, for example damp days or if the weather turned cold (sounds crazy I know, but something has changed). These marks, dark patches, whatever you can call them

  • Could these marks be condensation?

I have got a BV7-40. What I am about to describe has happened a couple of times in the past week. It has never happened before. After the TV has been on for about 15 mins. some funny type of marks appear on the screen - quite large size marks (sort of like funny shapes) - sometimes 2 shapes, today only the one. The funny shapes are still visible once
