I'm not sure what type of project you're working on, but you might want to consider hacking with the B&O protocol instead...might be more elegant than hacking a remote. Check this guys site for info: http://www.ivor.it/beolink/

BTW, the speakers are wired in two sets: each set in series. That means they will be connected + to -. The inner set: Green goes to negative (opposite phase) The outer set: Blue goes to positive

Definitely check out the wiring diagram in the Service Manual to be certain - that's what I did. Perhaps my picture might help a little....although it's hard to trace the wires.

Sorry, no CAD drawing. I carefully pulled a top piece and brought that to the local shop for measurement. It's a little easier in case we ended up switching thickness, etc. In the end, I decided to not to do the little edge bends. The shop could only really do about 5-6mm lip and the design of the speaker can only allow for about 3mm max. We had

Thanks so much everyone for the kind words. I do need some help though. I can't get the displays to work with my Beocenter 2300. However, they work perfectly with my Beomaster 4500. I've wired up an adapter just like the one IkeA bought from B&O: Left side: Pin 1 - Pin 2 - Outside of RCA Pin 3 - Center Pin on RCA Pin 4 - Pin 5 - Pin 6 -

My wife and I were worried we'd upset the neighbors as we were really "enjoying" them until about 11PM last night. It's been very rewarding seeing them go from such a sad state to almost

Completed (mostly) Twins: I'm waiting on a part from my local B&O dealer so I can install the final amp trim piece: Lock for Lid 3024066 (which has been updated to part #3034003) The Twins are back!

Prepping and painting plastic. The satin black came out great, but the reflective nature of the satin picks up surrounding colors. If I were to do it again, I'd do flat black to de-emphasize the plastic parts of the speakers.
