  • Re: What Are You Working On Now ?

Leslie, Amazing work! Can you review what you did to those 5500s? I'm assuming: painted plastic, polished metal, applied stickers. Is that correct? If so, can you talk about the polishing process?

  • Re: BeoSystem 3 and Apple TV 2

Have you tried messing with the output resolution setting on the ATV? I've had issues with my ATV1 and some older TVs.

  • Re: Beosound 3000 / Beocenter 2300 CD issues

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention, I often power off the entire system using a power strip since we get pretty good thunderstorms and lightening here in Texas. I'm not sure if the units don't like the hard reset.

  • Re: Wanted Service manual Beogram cd 3500/4500

To repair problems on my Beogram CD4500, I use the CD5500 service manual. Not quite the same but many similar circuits. Hope that helps!

  • Re: + en - on Beolab 5000

As Steffen said, it's just the wire manufacturer. BTW, my 3 Penta amps are not wired the same. The raised stripe is negative and the NKT lettering on the positive is orange colored. Perhaps B&O used the color printing as their guide instead of the raised stripe.

  • Re: + en - on Beolab 5000

On my (well, potentially mine, since I'm still in the middle of purchasing them) Beolab 4500, the wire with the raised stripe is positive and the negative has black printing on it (NKT).

  • Re: Beolab 4500 Heartbreak

I'm working with the seller and he is being very helpful. Seems the company that packed it did in fact do the damage and not the seller. This is tough because even if I get some monetary compensation (partial refund), it's not the same as having an all original piece cosmetically. I'll know more tomorrow and I'll keep you guys posted

  • Beosound 3000 / Beocenter 2300 CD issues

Hey everyone! My memory isn't serving me well so perhaps you folks can give me a hand. I have an issue with both my 3000 and 2300 where the CD will not spin up when I press the CD button on the remote (or on the main unit). The display will simply say "CD" or sometimes "CD <>" but the CD doesn't spin up. Even if I press

  • Beolab 4500 Heartbreak

Hi everyone :( After years of searching, I finally found a great pair of Beolab 4500 and they just arrived via FedEx minutes ago. However, whoever boxes them up, took a razor to the polished and brushed metal of one of the speakers. My heart is aching...so sad since these were bought from the original owner who took great care of them. There are a few
