Leslie, Amazing work! Can you review what you did to those 5500s? I'm assuming: painted plastic, polished metal, applied stickers. Is that correct? If so, can you talk about the polishing process?

Have you tried messing with the output resolution setting on the ATV? I've had issues with my ATV1 and some older TVs.

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention, I often power off the entire system using a power strip since we get pretty good thunderstorms and lightening here in Texas. I'm not sure if the units don't like the hard reset.

I have an issue with both my 3000 and 2300 where the CD will not spin up when I press the CD button on the remote (or on the main unit). The display will simply say "CD" or sometimes "CD <>" but the CD doesn't spin up. Even if I press

Especially sad since they were double boxed:

Hi everyone :( After years of searching, I finally found a great pair of Beolab 4500 and they just arrived via FedEx minutes ago. However, whoever boxes them up, took a razor to the polished and brushed metal of one of the speakers. My heart is aching...so sad since these were bought from the original owner who took great care of them. There are a few
