Thank you everyone for your informative and insightful suggestions and ideas! It seems evident that my 4000 and the s45.2's should be providing a nice balance and bass. I will work on these issues and suggestions and see what I come up with. Thanks again... I really appreciate your comments!

Hmmmmm... Well that's interesting. I'm just not feeling that much low end from my speakers. Is it normal that on my receiver I have to set the bass level near the highest end (4-5) in order to get a sufficient amount of bass in my speakers?

Hello, I am hoping those with more knowledge than I may have some comments on this. I have a vintage system comprising of a Beomaster 4000, Beogram 1700, Beocord 1900, and a pair of Beovox s45.2's. I love everything about my system but would like to add a bit more low end to the sound. Does it make sense to add a Cona subwoofer the s45's? I

Hello, I'm hoping you... The B&O expert can help me... My components include a 4000 receiver, 1700 Turntable, and a pair of Beovox s45.2 speakers. I love the speakers and the receiver... But feel I need a tad more bass... Not a lot more, but certainly some. I'm honestly not sure if its the receiver or the speakers that's lacking. I'd

I have what I suspect is a simple question... Do the Beomaster 3000-2's have built-in phono preamps? I'm assuming they do (input 1), but I have just got one but can't seem to playback my turntable (Philips 212)... The volume is very low. I know it works just fine because I have recently been playing it back on a Yamaha. Please... I need

Hello, I need some technical advise. I just acquired a nice Beomaster 3000-2. I have an existing Philips GA 212 turntable that I would like to use with this. When testing this I barely have any levels (volume at 8 out of 10 before a peep). Someone told me that these are designed for Bang and Olufsen turntables and that I would need a power amp for the

I've just recently picked up a pair of S45.2's. The drivers are intact and sound great, however the cabinets (rosewood) could benefit from a bit of refinishing. Nothing major... just a little scratched and faded. Anyone have experience refinishing these? Any special precautions I should take? ANY information would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi out there... I would have posted this in the "Items wanted" forum but for some reason it won't let me post. So... Recently purchased some vintage S45-2 speakers but I am sadly without the speaker wires for them. I have the connectors to the receiver, just not to the speakers. Anyone have any they could part with? Thanks!

Oops... I see you're from the UK... Shipping may be way too expensive :-(

Interested in parting with one set? Or know of anyone else that may be? Thanks.
