Yes, All the BC 6 are HD ready - just the early BV6s that were not. Yes, have component but not tried it (don't have a cable!) - the DVI input definitely works but just not at 720p. (If I select HDTV in the menu system of the BC6 I have the choice of either 'YPBPr', 'DVI' or 'No'). Thanks
