Just been in there to see about getting a BS3000 fixed. Really nice guys. Wish them all the best

I have the same problem with a BS3000, after having a look it looks like a very fiddly job, so I decided to send it off to a service centre to be fixed.

Do you have to be connected to a wifi connection to play music from the iphone or can the Beolit create an ad-hoc network connection?
-
It was just under 900 euros for the conversion! I do like the idea

Hi, Going to attampt to look at this tonight (removing doors, taking the BS300 apart and trying to find out what is wrong with the cables). Can anyone offer any advice? Thank Toby

Hi, I brought a Beosound off ebay which has turned up and the doors are not aligned and do not open fully or if at all. Having had a quick scan through the forum I see that this is common with the overture. How easy s it to fix. I have had a look at the service manual. Is it better to get a service centre to do it or can an amateur do it at home? Thanks

“ I hope any bad reviews aren't any worse than the one quoted!” That was one of the worse reviews it just had the best pictures of the lead storage compartment and the connection ports. It appeals to me as something I can use when I have a BBQ on the beach, as normally just have very tinny sounding portable speakers.

The Beolit 12 is getting some good reviews online. Here is one with some better pictures http://www.t3.com/reviews/b-and-o-play-beolit-12-review Think this product may even convince to get out my iphone and get it fixed

Wonder what other products will be in the Beoplay range? Would be nice if they gave the beoplayer a face lift to go with the new range, make it more user friendly for those that have a large number of CD's burned onto the hard drive
