I'd consider getting BeoTime. Which is far better than the built-in one on board of the BeoSound 1. I would always forget to set the stupid timer at night and wake up in panic because I'm late. Since BeoTime became a part of my nitgh stand, I'm no longer late for anything.

I have a question regarding the LinTronic import tool software. How do you go about getting that on the computer. I downloaded the LinTronic Configurator tool and before I pull the trigger on buying a license, I'd like to ask if someone can direct me to a proper download link. I own both Serene and Serenata. Serenata is 'backwards' compatible with Serene as far as EarSet1 Mobile and EarSet2 goes. That's it. EarSet3 Serenata model is very specific to itself. In any case, that particular variant of EarSet3 is now obsolete anyhow. EarSet3i has taken its place now, which is far better in design and I'd say sound

when you're in config tool, do you just look up the command and double click it? sounds like that is the case. You have to ADD it which will appear in the upper section of the IR window where you select the commands. Do you have it set in "Default" or "Custom" mode? Custom mode is done by your dealer. Default mode is loaded on each Beo5 giving you rudamentary control over your TV, DVD, RADIO & CD nothing else. A.TAPE was renamed to A.MEM but function remained the same. You'll need to see your dealer and get him programe in the buttons
