  • Re: Beo5 or Beo4

I don't use my remote for a lot of other things then my stereo and TV, so I'm more satisfied with Beo4 then Beo5. Maybe you'll get the hang of it when you use it regularly, buy I just can't. Although I do like the looks of the Beo5, the Beo4 is timeless.

  • Re: Just dropped my Beolab 5000!

I was quite sad reading it, just waiting for the moment that you would tell us that is was broken and irreparable. But quickly I had to smile. Such an amazing engineering Bang and Olufsen deliver. You can toss them around and problems fix themselves . So your beolab 5000 is even better after you dropped it.

  • Re: Beocenter 3500

I've loosend the screws and it moves freely. The screws are not in a line with the underlying black trim (where you screw them on), they stick out (although they don't hit the platter). Is that normal? I have to thank you guys for all your advice. The belt doesn't slip off anymore, so it was the tightening screws who were to blame. Thanks

  • Re: Why do people put down B&O sound

Besides the fact that B&O is very good, as well in audio/videoquality as in design. Apart from this I think of B&O-owners as a sort of same breed as motorcyclists ("once you've got it, you never go back"). I have to say that I will never ever buy anything else but B&O. And a lot of people who say B&O is this or that are

I don't know if they're tightend. Could those screws be of any influence to the belt tention?

I haven't been able to test that. When the platter is off it's just like the belt is somehow rolled up to one side, because it just rolls off when I turn the platter. When I don't turn it, it keeps on. It actually is quite tight (I think it can get tighter) around the platter.

If I were you I'd try to do something about your lovely wife :). A BC3500 in the bedroom for instance is a nice extra on a late night ;). Or is your house stuffed allready with B&O? Next time you marry, try and find a woman with the same interests as your own :).

  • Re: What are the best B&O items ever?

I have to say that the Beocenter 3500 is a warm addition to any interior. I like the looks and it works superb with a pair of S60's. Besides the older B&O the new products have some things to offer that realy are beautifull. Personally I like the MX-series and the Beocenter 1. The Beosound 9000 is a must have for a man who loves to listen to

  • Re: YAY at last... my MX7000 is coming back to life.

The MX7000 is a marvelous TV. We have one for over 15 years and still it works fantastic (and looks amazing too). Especially when you see the current Sony/Philips/Samsung one size fits all look television. Since the flatschreen-TV came, not much inspiration remained in designing the outside of a TV. The MX7000 still looks modern and fits in any interior
