Thanks for your offer Victor, think i'll be OK on dissasembly with the service manual available on Beoworld Can anyone give a little more detail on whether or not there is a common component failure i can try replacing before giving it up to the service dept? Thanks, Martin

Thanks alex, I prefer the DIY method, if there is anything on the hardware side of things that can be investigated that is It wasn't shipped but in any case it has worked for the last several months

Hi, sorry if this is covered somewhere else... I have a BL2 that has worked fine for the last several months (bought used) but now won't come out of standby The power light light turns green for a second or two then turns back to red I have discounted the following: Beosystem 2 output - this BL 2 doesn't work on another BS2 i have Beosystem

Confused, Alex says "Don't use a pair (of Beolab 4000's) - they'll only couple and give you more volume at lower frequencies. They'll actually sound quite unpleasant at higher frequencies as you move off-axis. Stick to one speaker". http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/32126/260686.aspx#260686 Others say use a pair! Thanks Vienna, have had them both in bits and positive there is no loose connection on TV sockets, no dry joints at all. Also tried with short flylead direct to UHF distribution amp to prove cable, still noisy until "jiggled" Sorry i realise everything points to a loose connection / dry solder joint but there isn't one. Problem resolves

Hi, I have three MX4000's, two of them have a UHF input problem i want to fix - the cable has to be "jiggled" about in the UHF socket (of the TV) when TV / Sat or DVD is selected, or the picture is noise and sound is hissing. Anything coming through the UHF cable does this, radio and CD are good every time. Can anyone tell me if this is

Hi Simon, I have just fitted a Samsung UE46C5100 that cost me £975, now they are under £850. It's a wall mounted super slim LED TV, only 30mm thick. The complement of connections (4 x HDMI, 2 x USB, VGA, Scart, UHF........ etc) is more than enough to cover all needs. The TV is connected directly to a SKY+HD box via HDMI and audio is

Hi again everyone, Can anyone say from experience that using a Beolab 3500 as a centre speaker, (after conversion using a Madsystemes kit) provides acceptable sound quality? I do not expect anyone to confirm the 3500 can be as good as a 7.1, I know they are underpowered in comparison and are not designed to be centre speakers. I can’t fit a 250mm
