• Re: SONOS multi-room audio
For example, I have my sonos plugged into the AUX on my BC9500, one to a BS1, etc. I just set the volume to a medium and then go up/down from there.
It is at least reassuring that you don't have return to the beo 4 each time when you want to change the volume of the Sonos music. Everything goes through

  • Re: sonos and BL2000 / BL3500
BL3 and BL8000 among other have a "Line In" switch and there are adapter cables available.
I guess you mean with adapter cables powerlink to "line in" converters. My question is then what would be the best solution for long cable lengths (e.g. 10 meter): a long phono cable with at the end

  • Re: SONOS multi-room audio
Or a mixture - I can think of several systems where we used B&O video distribution, often with a Beosound9000/4 in the living room - but that was partly as a visual or design element, to be honest. But all the audio link rooms are controlled via sonos, using their remotes or iphones app. The "compromise"

  • Re: Eerste Review: De nieuwe BeoLab 11.

  • Re: When did you become a Bang & Olufsen fan?

I became a fan in 2003 at a party of a friend that was run on a pair of Beolab 1s and a BS 9000 linked to a laptop. Not only that party was driven at an unnaturally high SPL from the Lab 1s, the music was also overwealming me in its pureness and beauty. I simply have liked this brand for its pureness and power of sound ever since.

  • Re: Apple express, better sound with a DA converter, but which one?

Hello Bayerische, Two options you should definitely also consider are: 1/ Apogee Mini-DAC: price/quality very good, probably nicer sound than the Benchmark 2/ Bel Canto DAC: by far the best. The DAC 3 is a reference high end DAC but expensive. But I know that Bel Canto recently also released a series of less expensive DAC's. I would strongly recommand

  • Re: How do I get one of these???
A pair of BeoLab 5 Loudspeakers to match my BeoSound 5 ! And a BeoVision 4-103 on the motorised floor stand in a Home Cinema room !
AMEN to that !! - I am not a difficult man

  • Re: dealer conference

Ok, thank you for this. In my hypothetical configuration this would allow the attachment of an external blue ray player for local home cinema use in the living room (which could also play a cd if needed). Next to this, the Encore would give me a rather smart platform to distribute full audio and video around the house. And I'm expecting the beo

If I may say so, in our country it's actually since a number of years ... Maserati (and no I'm not an Italian)
