A TV will ignore remote if set to option 0, which can happen by mistake in certain situations. Whilst this is not common - its a bit hard to accidentally do - it is not unheard off, and is the first thing to check when a TV ignores IR , and it is certainly the cheapest to fix !! Firstly - check your Beo4 by looking at the IR emitter via a mobile phone

A few people have mentioned this to me in last few days - saw it myself tonight too. Ad is for a new ASUS laptop range- makes a big deal about the sound quality, & credits B&O with caption. Good bit of cross - marketing, maybe a sign of things to come as a result of Tue ???

I don't agree that it is confusing. There have always been a few different connectors around the Hi-Fi world - not to mention just around the house generally - - 3 pin mains, 2 pin mains, Fig 8 mains, phono, din, 4mm ( banana) speaker, bare wire speaker, 2 pin din speaker, odd din variants ( B&O, Naim, Quad). Plus a few others. Trying to plug
