For me the main benefit of the WIFI enabled Beo6 is the ability to select music on my BS5/BM5 from a link room. As the Encore cannot be used in link rooms there is no value apart from not having to get up from you chair.

I also must have one of the special ones. My BS5/BM5 plays perfect gapless with lossless WMA. I guess we are just lucky Stan.

You need a wifi enabled Beo6.

I have a Beocenter 6 without the integrated DTV module. No hiss and no issues.

Hi Scott, I installed a pair of the WM6 last year. Beo Passive has no trouble driving them. They are really powerful which is what you need outside if you want to appreciate the subtleties of the music without having to turn them up too loud (don’t want to annoy the neighbours). They coped easily with last year’s winter – rain, snow
