  • Beotime

Recently acquired boxed and untouched Beotime ( http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/t/39337.aspx?PageIndex=3 ) looking for a loving home. But! It would seem odd selling it as I got it through this forum, so I thought I'd try to keep it in the beoworld family. So I'm looking for someone who'd like to do a trade for something more vintage. It

  • Re: THE BEOWORLD MAY 2011 PRIZE DRAW

I gave up Cleve. I've got a Rotel CD player tucked away in the AV unit under the more attractive B&O stuff. A CDX won't add anything aesthetically pleasing and I rarely use the CD player I've got. I got second pair of S45s on the cheap so I could use the stands so I might start putting together another system. How are you? I was down

  • Stop! Beotime

So, I got lucky and won a Beotime in the monthly prize draw. But I fear it's too modern to work with my Beocenter 2600! Can the Beotime easily be made to work with a vintage system? I suspect the answer is no as I can't find anything in previous threads about using a beotime with vintage equipment.

  • Re: CD player for Beocenter

I lied. Still not quick and easy for an idiot like me! Is this what I need? I'm struggling to find a cheaper version. Everything else seems to want to go to the rca connectors.

That was quick and easy! I was worried there might be a problem with line volume (or some other thing I don't understand!) Thanks Tournedos.

  • Beocenter 5000 - spares - free

I've got a Beocenter 5000 I picked up in order to get some cheap speaker stands. It doesn't have a stylus and the platter does not turn when I press the button. To my untechnical mind it's completely knackered. But if anyone on here wants it for parts they're welcome to it if they can pick up from Guildford. If not it's hitting the

  • CD player for Beocenter

Hi all, I have a Beocenter 2600 (thanks Cleve!) and I've been looking for a CDX but it's proving hard work. Could I just plug in any old CD separate if I got a twin phono to 5 pin DCI in the meantime?
