Let me start by making it clear that my intention was never to seek compensation from Lee. This forum is a community. And as such we need to act as one. If someone is acting in a way that threatens the community they need to be held to account. I wrestled with the decision on whether to put my experience in the public domain not least because I knew

I mean exactly that. Llewelyn doesn't owe you money, you owe it to him. So you're not out of pocket, so you would be positive about the situation. I expect people to do whatever they wish. Brendan and I seem to have had an identical experience. So if someone's considering sending something to Llewelyn and expecting payment back, perhaps

I guess you're a bit more positive as you're the one that owes him money! Forgive me for being negative but I'm not made of money. I tried to do someone a favour and I wish I'd just flogged it on eBay and banked the cash seven months ago.

It must be one hell of a house move. And he's had plenty enough time to post on these forums in that time. I'm all for giving someone a break - life happens to get in the way sometimes - but we're talking seven months here. I think I waited more than long enough before going public with this. Welcome Peter. I too am the proud owner of a 2600. It's on page 21 or so of this thread back when I was set up with some old Mission speakers. I'll get a new photo up showing it with my s40s soon. I might wait until my new-old Beocord 1200 arrives first though!

The problem is, I don't have a dining table at the moment. The space I've got available is very tight so I'm looking for something not much over 2ft wide. I really just need something

Just got back from my summer holiday where I stumbled across this place http://www.quarta.es/ I almost enjoyed the shop more than the beautiful casino that I'd gone to see http://www.casinomurcia.com/index.php?option=com_igallery&view=igcategory&id=1&Itemid=62&lang=en Well worth a visit if you find yourself in the area.

Well, I've learnt about wood types today at least! Looks like we're done then. I'll send a PM

I'm guessing it's the palisander one! I'm very much a rosewood man I'm afraid. All of my existing B&O is in the rosewood finish so it's easy to chop and change bits around. If you'd still had the 6000 I'd have taken you up on that for sure. I'll keep this up for a bit and see if anyone else wants to make an offer
