    Oops I meant to say Beolink 7000 in my earlier post to this thread, my mistake though has meant your collective knowledge has revealed the presence of a real MCP 7000! In black no less, just like my 7000 system. My seller still insists he never had a cap on the line in/out port and the Beomaster 7000 worked for him, am I going mad or is it true that

    Wow, fast answer to my question, many thanks. All tuned in now Next problem is the non functioning tape drive mechanism.....I knew about that when I bid for it, but it would be nice to try and fix it. Do the manuals on this site have details like this tuning example, as the ones I found so far only contain 10-14 pages and have very little details for

    Got the following off eBay, Beosystem 7000, consisting of: cd,tape deck and beomaster plus a beogram 3500 and a mcp 5500. Couldn't get any sound from the set up but thanks to a post on this forum I have discovered a missing plug issue from the Line in/out socket and used the paperclip fix! The seller assures me there never was a plug and the unit
