    Hi Dueno, I thought this thread would explode with speculations. :-) I'm also excited to hear more about what will come out this year regarding TVs... Would love a 46'' on a motorized floorstand, with built in Blu-Ray, STB, hard drive, ethernet/WLan, and an upgradeable user interface with apps..Smart TV/Google TV/ Apple TV ?? Getting ready

    ...btw..does anyone know what AP and IOP is? I assume AC3 is the software revision for the surround module, am I right? Also, It would be interesting to know what features or fixes i would get if upgrading, more than just being able to use the DTV button.. Thanks, Peter

    Hi Lano, It turns out I have : 06 IC3 (AP): SW 8.6 and 06 IC2 (IOP): SW 22.0 and 32 IC607 (AC3): SW 1.8 EPROM ver. 011 and my Type is: 8800 So I assume my set is older than yours.. I'll have a word with my dealer about an upgrade, I hope he can do it in my home, moving those 80 Kg is no fun… ;-) Thanks for your help, Iano! /Peter

    Thanks for your quick reply, Claes! So then I assume it's definitly not possible to use on an older AV9000 either :( Not the answer I was hoping for, but at least I can stop messing around with it and settle for using the commands in the "list" menues.. :-) /Peter

    Hi all! I am a lucky owner of a BV3-32 and a AV9000, and I am using Apple TV and also digital "on demand" TV a lot through settop boxes. In my current configuration I am using "v.mem" / "v.tape" assigned to Apple TVs and "v.aux" in the list menu for the STB. All works fine and its also controlled perfectly via

    Hi Spiros, Regarding your first question, the connection you have directly from your wall is PSTN ( analog) telephony and ISDN is digital, so yes, you need to have the box that is provided from your Telecom provider. Using an ISDN telephone as PSTN or IP telephone is only possible through a complete phone system (from Avaya, Ericsson or similar) which

    Hi guys, It seems the BV5 has become very popular as second hand, and I am also considering buying one since the prices are reasonable and its a great TV set.. But, buying a plasma that is 8-9 years old, how many years can I expect it to work? What does it cost to replace the plasma screen when that time has come? Is it a "do-it-yourself"
