Thanks for the answers! I was suspecting there were no connection for motorsized stand on BV4-42, Thanks for clearifying that. Ive seen some table stands, but I guess they are motorized then. @akoro: Yeah that would be a dream! :-) I am looking into buying a used BV4-42 or BV here, since a second hand BV4-42 can be found at a price around 1000 euros

Hi all! I am looking into buying a used BV 4-42 or BV 4-50 but I am not planing to put it on the wall. Does those two TVs has the built in feature to control a motorized stand? /Peter

Hi Ferdinand, No, but I haven't tried Stefans suggestion to get an extra beolink cable ( having one directly from the 2300 and one via the splitter) I guess that will do the trick..but I haven't tested it though. I settle for using my BEO4 and pressing "CD" when i want to use it instead.. /Peter

Hej Daniel, Interesting! Well, when I get home I will leave it power-less over night and then connect it again and leave it to "heal", maybe thats what it needs... ;-) Did you also get the distortion and the call "fading away" after a few minutes of talking? I was thinking there must be some kind of "master reset code"

Hi Keith, Thank you for the quick response! Well, now that I have reset the handset, I cannot call or receive calls, so I don't get the weird busy tone either of course..When I press the handset button it just ask me if I want to connect to the base ( in swedish, since it was set up in swedish originally) I only have one Beocom 6000 and only one

Hi Guys, I see this is an old thread, but just curious if the phone ever started working properly again? I have an old Beocom 6000 (obviously a Mk1 since the DOT 7009 worked for me to do a reset) but now I can't register the handset with the base. It doesnt accept the default 0000 code as password. I am sure I havent changed it.. The symptoms on

Hi Dave! Honestly I still think BV 3-32 has a better and more naural picture quality IMHO, even compared to almost any TV on the market today! There are many TVs with excellent sharpness and refresh rate today, but I think the picture many times feels "syntethic" compared to the old "tube"..The only reason why I am considering a

I totally agree with you guys, The BV 5 is amazing. I checked out 2 early ones (2002) a while ago and the picture quality is amazing compared to new TV sets from a lot of the mainstream brands. I was really surprised how modern and up-to-date it felt (and even ahead of many of todays TV's) considering being 9 years old…but on the other hand

Hi Carl-Henrik and Burantek, Im also interested in those questions since I am looking for either a BV 5 or BV 4-42, preferably the HD models, so I am in almost the same situation regarding changing my main BV3-32 and thinking if it is worthwhile changing one old TV with another old one for the price of a new "top of the line" non-B&O TV
