Here's a treat for all you geeks: BeoMAME! (I can't take credit for building the arcade pedestal, but I did help design it...)

one prob you may run into is my Samsung has a minijack line out, but this is pumped out at full volume, not controlled by the remote volume. Manual says that volume must be controlled by separate amp. It would have been nice for me to be able to go right to the BL6000 but now I have to figure something out for it.

Check out Audiogon.com for great used subs. Can't give you specific examples you will need to check out reviews, etc in that price range. Would definitely go used. Velodyne is a well-known brand and has a whole range of priced subs.

I REALLY DO THINK THE AV7000 IS FOR THE SOUND ONLY? [/quote] The AV7000 was conceived to take control of both audio and video sources. Is

I wouldn't call this solution useless. Not sure if wireless speakers are ever going to be able to compete with a wired, but I can see for some people who CAN'T rip up the floor or walls that may be interested in this. Seems like a clunky solution but who knows...

What I said that it's a waste of time to try to answer without more information. It's like if I asked for directions to your house....without giving you information on where I was coming from. Would it be worthwhile for someone else to pick a random spot and start giving directions?

I think there are far too many questions for the OP to answer and further "solutions" are likely to confuse him more. OP, why don't you post EXACTLY what you have. Do you have speakers? If so, what kind? 2 of them? 5 of them? surround sound? If you only have 2 speakers do you want surround sound? If you really want help, you have to describe
