Thanks Phil. Can I still get HD from this setup by connecting my video sources directly to the TV as I already have and then the output of the TV to the Beosystem 2? It seems to be rare at least where I am in the US, but I just need the unit as a surround processor not to manage the video sources.

Well here's my setup. I have as above a new Samsung LED 7000 series LCD, two Beolab 6000s (waiting on purchasing the other speakers at this point), and a PS3 & Wii. Also, I have an Apple airport extreme set up that provides audio throughout my home through itunes (a really cool way to set up audio to multiple speakers). So, my PS3 and Wii are

Thanks so much for the detailed reply! I looked at the BS 1 and it looked freaking huge! I haven't compared what a system set up with the old dolby pro-logic compared to the new dolby decoding so it is hard to know if it is all worth it. I've never had a full surround in my own house either so I have to decide if it is all worth it in the end

I've read some of the threads on surround sound in a non-B&O setup, and I'm a bit confused if they apply to my situation. I have a Beocenter 9500 and 2 speakers currently, but I'm wondering if in the future if I can keep the BC 9500 and expand this. I have a non B&O TV (a Samsung 7000 series LED 55" LCD) and won't be changing

Is the hole/entrance for the speaker wires right below the mounting holes? If so, then how does one get the speaker wires through a stud?!!?!?!

I imagine one could tear open the wall and put a brace stud horizontally to mount one of the holes to but I don't really care to break in to my wall. The stores could of course do that no problem and is probably what they have done...

OK I guess no one has used these actually on the wall? 113 views at this moment and not a single person has them mounted wow! @joeyboygolf, do the brackets have holes that are aligned with each other vertically? I'm wondering because if you mounted them in a stud then that would block the holes for the wires....so, they must be made to go into the

I am considering the wall-mount brackets for the Beolab 6000s and am wondering if anyone has experience with them. Mainly I am wondering about how they attach to the wall. I'm trying to plan for spacing and wondering if they need a stud in the wall to screw in to or if they use dry wall anchors? The speakers seem a bit to heavy to rely just on drywall

Hello, I'm currently building a system with a vintage Beocenter 9500 and some Beolab 6000s mounted to the wall beside an LCD TV. I'm not interested in a full surround setup at this time because I can't afford it. However, I am interested in getting additional speakers in the future and having one eventually. I was wondering if a way to get
