• Re: BeoVision 4-85"
You're not alone... The fact is that the interest of customers for 3D TVs has been far lower than expected this year. People just don't want to use glasses (mainly those horrible active shutter glasses, there is a far better customer satisfaction with passive polarized glasses), they don't want to pay that much

wow can't believe there isn't more discussion about this! Finally something really new from B&O although few will be able to afford it. Not much going on in the forums these days it seems...

  • Re: My Beolab 6000s use different mains adapters, WTF?!?!?!

OK I used your solution but they didn't fit the other way around (square end mains cable in oval-oval recepticle. I just ended up using a knife to shave off the corners of the square end and it worked. Strange....never realized there was different connectors.
I think I"m one of the few. . . I do however, own pretty much every item in the catalogue. . . surely that helps make up for the rest of the state
More B&O items than the average Arkansas resident has teeth? Couldn't resist!
I tend to agree with most of the foregoing here. I have a BL2/BL8k combo in my bedroom. . it's nice.. . it's not BL9s though. Not in the same category as far as I'm concerned. . The 9s (to me) are the tightest speakers in the range. I do have 5s as well. . (they incredible) but I prefer the 9s from a strictly

  • My Beolab 6000s use different mains adapters, WTF?!?!?!

I have two pairs of Beolab 6000s. One is used as rear speakers in a surround setup, and the other as the two main speakers on a spare TV. These pairs were both purchased used a while ago. I noticed that the two speakers in the surround setup were distorting a bit during loud volume, so I wanted to switch them. When I did, I noticed that the mains plugs
Thanks again I am planning on a ZP90 Cullen mod (http://www.cullencircuits.com/webapps/p/67005/78076/316658) I have read a lot of good things about this modified sonos version. I guess i will have to do a bit more research. /Ehlerz
Would recommend that if you want a high-end audio source. Sonos has flawless sync

I don't much care for the later model Beograms and was disappointed with their quality. So, I purchased a Clearaudio turntable. It's in a whole different league and looks like a classic but yet exotic turntable. Then, I purchased a restored Beogram 3000 (the 1960s one) and am waiting for that to go with my Beolab 5000 system. Best of both worlds

  • Re: Flash your B&O!
that maybe so, but its all to do with the pride of equipment people have, nothing better than seeing coloured vinyl being lit by the guiding light of the tracking light on a beogram while the pure lines of the tangential arm is subtly lit..... nice, its not all about the settings its about the design through out! after
