I've (tried to) translate an article from a Danish business web site - www.business.dk - about the future strategy for B&O. Enjoy - Claus Is B & O’s road to future success through the national mainstream Audio-Video-market or Chinese luxury consumers? The experts are divided on the issue, which is crucial for B&O's future.

Hi Jim, These small Beovox S45-2 are truly great speakers - and a really nice present. Defenitly worth restoring to their original condition (woofer, cabinet, capacitors). Dillens kits works fine. I 've made a few more modifications to my S45-2's look at http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/32520/264013.aspx#264013 Good luck with your project

Beovox S75 are rubber both for the woofer and phase unit (where the M75 are foam for both)

Hello Dave, To test if there is connection in the woofer/bass-driver, connect a 1,5 Volt battery to the terminals of the speaker. If it moves the problem is probably the cross-over: Look for over-heated resistors (turned from grey to brown/black colour), melted isolation on the wires touching each other (causing short-cut) or missing connections somewhere

Thanks guys, I'm now a litte more up to date - and less ignorant
