Anyone know which if any of the two scarts AV1 & AV2 is RGB enabled.
-
Problem solved, B&O technician tweeked the focus took him 30 secs. Rated the set as low use with excellent picture.

Well thanks guys for the input, however whats done is done and I am left with a set that may not have been transported correctly. Can the focus be reset satisfactorily, according to the service manual a signal generator and a reset of several functions is now needed.

A further thought, does anyone know how securely the focus coils are attached to the neck of the tube. This tv was transported face down on a pallet, it was well packed and protected from shock however there is the possibility that the coils may have been slighly displaced during the move. Being transported in a face down attitude may have allowed movement

Size is the reason for preferring the 28". However the later 28" RF models seem to be 100hz which from what I've read of other tv's can produce a worse picture

Are there any differences in picture quality between the 50 and 100 hz versions of the avant. I am looking for a good 2nd hand 28" model and have come across differing opinions on the quality of 100hz tv, many critical. I have a mx4000 which has a great picture, are the 100hz versions of the avant completely free from judder and smearing should
