  • liner tracking turntables

Hello I have several of these newer model liner trackers(3300, 4500, 5005...) with problem with platters center axis. It seems to be somehow loose. I mean that part what is in floating chassis, and flywheel sits on it. Is it normal, does not feel normal? Has anyone else problem like this, and if, what you have done to it? Can it be tighten somehow?

  • Re: MMC5 cartridges

Yes, even I can hear difference between MMC5 and MMC4, have listen them both on beosystem 4500, and in beogram 5005 connected to beocenter 3300. Unfortunally higher cartridges are so expensive that I can't buy them just for testing... and MMC4000 is pretty fine too in my BC3300.

I haven't fix mechanically any of this series... But I guess there is lot of different kind wires that can be used on this, I'd start for search suitable..., maybe from some plastic specialist store, kind of "pro" selling... Is that plastic guide snapped? Maybe you can make a support piece from metal to hold it on its spot? Some trashed

There is one wire going from bottom terminal of drawer to back, and to front from there, and again to top terminal on drawer, both ends spring loaded. Sorry but I'm not sure what you mean with loop of little cable. I have done mech parts from messing with kind of minidrill (proxxon) For example fixed snapped CDX hinge.... With pretty good result
